Senior Java Developer
Summary
Senior Java Developer designs, builds, and maintains enterprise applications in Luxembourg using Java, Spring, and MicroServices, with testing and deployment support.
For one of the international institutions in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer with +8 years of Java experience to join our fast-growing team.
EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to be willing to relocate to relocate to Luxembourg.
A work permit is not provided. This role is open for employees and contractors. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Application design/analysis, component modelling, coding, unit testing, functional testing, documentation and support;
- Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
- Conduct research to find ways to improve operations;
- Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance;
- Took part in the architecture design and implement new Web Services;
- Management and assistance in testing, deployment and configuration of the IS;
Profile:
- Master's degree in a related field;
- +8 years of specific expertise in Java;
- +4 years of experience with MicroServices;
- Strong experience in Spring framework, Hibernate / JPA;
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Atlassian Confluencera and SQL;
- Front-end knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, experience with Angular 2+ is an asset;
- Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure) is an asset;
- Fluency in English;
