Senior Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join an insurance technology team, responsible for end-to-end application development, system integration, technical design, and mentoring junior developers.
- Prepare technical designs, specifications, and system documentation.
- Develop, test, and implement business applications according to project requirements.
- Perform system assessment, coding, SIT, UAT support, production release, and post-production support.
- Ensure compliance with development standards and coding guidelines.
- Review code and mentor junior developers on system functionality and development practices.
- Collaborate with users, vendors, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Troubleshoot application and server issues and ensure timely resolution.
- 7+ years of Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Oracle 11g+ / DB2, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Web Services, and Microservices Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with JBoss and Tomcat server environments and troubleshooting.
- Experience with application security and system integration.
- Familiarity with Maven, CLI build scripts, Jira, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Angular/Spring Boot teams is an advantage.
- Insurance industry experience is an advantage.
