Summary
Senior Java developer building and maintaining microservices for a financial-sector client's trading platform (credit and IR derivatives). Hybrid role in Kraków (2 days office, 3 remote) using Java, REST APIs, microservices, SQL (PostgreSQL/Sybase), with day-to-day use of AI tooling.
For our Client we are looking for an experienced Java Developer who will be responsible for both the development and maintenance of the microservices.
Location: Kraków, hybrid work model – 2 days per week in the office, 3 days remote

- 7+ years’ experience in Java back-end development with RESTful API, Java, micro-services
- Good sense and experience in high-availability service architecture
- Good experience in SQL and at least one main stream database (Postgres SQL or Sybase), with basic knowledge in database performance
- Hands on with AI tooling and models in day to day
- Experience of owning or leading the delivery a Java-based service / module
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving capability
- Fluent English
