What you’ll do
- Build and optimize scalable Java microservices powering our core fintech products
- Design APIs and backend workflows for secure payments, account management, and financial data
- Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams to deliver smooth, reliable end-to-end features
- Contribute to system design decisions and architectural improvements
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code — and help set coding standards for the team
- Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
- Stay current on Java best practices and fintech trends
Requirements
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with strong Java (Java 11+) expertise
- Solid grasp of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
- Familiar with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Passion for performance, security, and clean architecture
- A team player who’s also self-driven and proactive in solving problems
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech or regulated environments
- Knowledge of OpenAPI, OAuth2, or distributed systems
- Contributions to open-source projects or internal developer tools
- Work on systems that handle real money at real scale
