Summary
Senior Java developer/technical lead in Geneva building fee-based platforms (fees, billing, commissions, revenue management) for banking, wealth and asset management. Day to day: designing enterprise Java/Spring API architectures, SQL work, CI/CD with Git and Maven, Agile/Scrum delivery, and mentoring engineers.
Experience required
At least 8 years of experience as a Java Technical Lead, Java Technical Architect, or Senior Java Software Engineer, with expertise in fee-based product domains such as Fees, Billing, Commissions, Charges, Revenue Management, or similar platforms, along with Financial Services domain experience in Banking, Wealth Management, and/or Asset Management must have.
- At least 8 years of experience as Technical Lead, Technical Architect or Senior Software Engineer.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring and API-based architectures.
- Experience with Agile delivery methods (Scrum).
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring capabilities.
- Financial Services Domain Experience (Banking/Wealth Mgmt/Asset Mgmt)
- Good knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Maven and modern software engineering practices.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container-based deployments.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, MQSeries or equivalent messaging technologies.
- Proven experience designing and evolving enterprise-grade software architectures.
- Experience working in complex and business-critical environments, ideally in financial services.
