Senior Java Developer, CDP API
- Design and implement core authentication and authorization including POST /auth/token endpoint, JWT validation middleware, and entitlement enforcement layer
- Build and maintain entitlement decision cache with invalidation on entitlement changes
- Standardize API error handling with correlated request IDs and configure Apigee for auth pass-through and rate limiting
- Develop catalog APIs with entitled metadata exposure and full-text/faceted search backed by descriptor cache
- Build core data access endpoints with shared cursor-pagination and query-filter executor
- Implement synchronous and asynchronous read paths through the Query Accelerator for various query types
- Implement non-blocking usage-event emission and GET /usage/me summary endpoint
- Build MCP tool-definition generator synced with OpenAPI contract via CI
- Contribute to API design including OpenAPI v1 contract, query/pagination grammar, auth/entitlement architecture, and MCP tool-definition and usage-event schemas
- Hands-on experience building and deploying services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Cloud Run, IAM, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, and GCP networking
- Strong core Java (17+) and modern JVM development skills
- Experience with Quarkus or Spring Boot with willingness to work in Quarkus
- REST API design and implementation with OpenAPI/contract-first development
- Automated testing discipline including unit tests, contract and integration testing
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployment
- Ability and willingness to work within AI-agent-first software development model using agentic development platforms and AI coding assistants
- Salary range: HUF 18,000,000-21,000,000 per year plus eligible for annual bonus
