Senior Java Developer

We invite a Senior Java Developer with AI expertise to join our fast-growing technology team. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable applications that support organizational priorities and meet technical quality expectations
• Offer informed input during system architecture meetings to help shape development roadmaps
• Work closely with teams across the organization to deliver well-engineered outcomes within planned timeframes
• Inspect teammate code changes and provide feedback that promotes reliable, maintainable implementation
• Identify underlying causes of difficult technical defects and coordinate their resolution across the development lifecycle
• Mentor newer engineers through practical guidance that advances their technical capability
• Join project-planning activities to define deliverables, assess effort, and contribute schedule estimates
• Evaluate changing technology practices and incorporate beneficial methods into day-to-day work
• Document technical processes and architectural decisions to make the codebase easier to evolve and support
• Communicate with stakeholders to establish clear requirements and ensure results align with business expectations

Requirements

• No fewer than three years of practical experience in software engineering or a similar field
• Practical awareness of AI technologies and concepts that can strengthen application design and development processes
• Thorough knowledge of Java Core principles and object-oriented programming techniques
• Proven background working with Java 8 and its associated development features
• Experience leveraging Spring Boot to implement and support backend infrastructure
• Background operating applications or services in a Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Working familiarity with Amazon Web Services for cloud solution rollout and oversight
• Experience with CI/CD workflows that enable repeatable, automated build and deployment processes
• Ability to use SQL effectively for relational database management and data queries
• Track record of developing service-oriented systems using microservice architecture patterns
• Skill in creating REST APIs and connecting them to broader application ecosystems
• Experience using unit testing to improve code stability and validate functionality
• Familiarity with NoSQL database options that integrate effectively with Java
• English fluency at B2 level or above in both written and spoken communication
