Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Devise and bring into existence sturdy, scalable technical designs that meet company needs and engineering requirements
• Get involved in architecture conversations, providing perspective that helps determine how projects progress
• Work alongside groups from various areas of expertise to keep deliverables punctual and up to quality standards
• Weigh in on code written by colleagues, promoting disciplined engineering through helpful, constructive comments
• Sort through tough technical problems that emerge at different points along the development path
• Help junior engineers develop by sharing insight that builds up their skill level and confidence
• Contribute to planning efforts, assisting in scope definition and supplying trustworthy time estimates
• Pay attention to shifts occurring in the tech industry and bring useful new methods into daily work
• Maintain organized records covering major technical decisions and processes to support the codebase's future upkeep
• Partner with business stakeholders to clearly define objectives and make sure deliverables fulfill what was promised

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of directly relevant, practical experience in a similar technical role
• Working knowledge of AI tools and frameworks, used to improve solution architecture approaches
• Strong command of Java Core fundamentals paired with solid object-oriented programming skill
• Proven background putting Java 8 features to use in actual, hands-on project settings
• Skilled in applying Spring Boot to build and sustain backend system architecture
• Experience operating within cloud environments based on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services for arranging and carrying out cloud-based deployments
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles that support reliable, automated software release processes
• Competent in using SQL to organize and access data stored in relational databases
• Established experience designing systems that follow Microservice Architecture best practices
• Applied experience constructing and working with REST-based API solutions
• Solid understanding of Unit Testing approaches to maintain steady, high-caliber code
• Exposure to NoSQL database technologies that integrate smoothly with Java projects
• Good English communication abilities at a B2 level or above
