Senior Java Developer

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer with a practical understanding of AI to support our expanding technology organization. Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, high-availability software solutions that address operational goals and engineering expectations
• Share technical recommendations in architecture workshops to help set the course for active projects
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions within committed schedules
• Review pull requests from fellow developers and offer actionable suggestions that improve code consistency
• Investigate challenging engineering problems, determine their causes, and implement effective resolutions
• Help junior engineers grow through coaching, technical support, and regular knowledge sharing
• Support project preparation by evaluating scope, identifying dependencies, and contributing delivery estimates
• Explore relevant technology advances and introduce practical improvements into development routines
• Maintain documentation for key design decisions and technical procedures to support future system maintenance
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements and confirm delivery alignment

Requirements

• Three or more years of professional experience in software engineering or a related technical role
• Applied familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and tools that support stronger development practices
• Strong foundation in Java Core programming and object-oriented software design
• Hands-on experience using Java 8 language features in production applications
• Ability to create and maintain backend services using Spring Boot
• Experience working with applications and services hosted in Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with AWS capabilities for deploying and operating cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery approaches for automating build and release activities
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, managing, and maintaining relational data
• Experience designing distributed applications through microservice-based architectural patterns
• Practical ability to build and integrate RESTful web services
• Knowledge of unit testing techniques for validating software behavior and maintaining code quality
• Familiarity with NoSQL data stores used alongside Java applications
• English communication skills at B2 level or above for effective workplace collaboration
