Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Engineer high-performing applications that support organizational goals and comply with established engineering standards
• Participate in technical design discussions by offering recommendations that influence architecture direction
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure releases are completed on time and meet agreed quality levels
• Assess code changes submitted by teammates and provide feedback that reinforces clean development practices
• Resolve sophisticated technical defects across design, build, test, and production stages
• Help newer engineers strengthen their abilities through coaching, practical support, and shared learning
• Contribute to planning activities by defining project boundaries, estimating required work, and identifying dependencies
• Stay informed about industry developments and introduce useful techniques into established development routines
• Document significant system decisions and working procedures to simplify future maintenance and support
• Engage with business partners to understand objectives and align final delivery with stated expectations

Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on experience in a relevant software development position
• Practical familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and tools that improve engineering methods and solution architecture
• Deep understanding of fundamental Java programming and object-oriented software development
• Demonstrated use of Java 8 language features in real-world project environments
• Capability to implement and support backend application components through Spring Boot
• Background working with cloud infrastructure, services, or applications on Microsoft Azure
• Awareness of Amazon Web Services for cloud deployment, operations, and environment administration
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for repeatable automated releases
• Ability to write SQL queries and work effectively with relational database structures
• Proven experience creating independently deployable services based on microservices principles
• Hands-on experience exposing REST endpoints and consuming external REST integrations
• Ability to develop unit tests that confirm expected behavior and improve application stability
• Working knowledge of Java-compatible NoSQL data storage solutions
• Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher
