Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Create scalable software architectures that support strategic business priorities and meet established technical standards
• Provide meaningful input during system-design workshops to influence technical decisions for evolving initiatives
• Coordinate with product, business, and engineering colleagues to deliver quality results within agreed schedules
• Review pull requests from other developers and recommend improvements that promote robust coding practices
• Investigate difficult engineering problems and implement effective solutions across the development lifecycle
• Support junior engineers with mentoring, practical guidance, and regular knowledge transfer
• Contribute to project preparation by clarifying requirements, estimating effort, and setting appropriate delivery boundaries
• Track relevant technology developments and introduce valuable methods into the team’s daily practices
• Maintain clear technical records covering architecture decisions, implementation processes, and system behavior
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into requirements and validate delivery against expectations

Requirements

• Three or more years of professional experience in software development or a related technical discipline
• Understanding of AI technologies and methods that can enhance software design and engineering workflows
• Strong command of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming techniques
• Hands-on experience using Java 8 functionality in production development environments
• Capability to create and maintain backend services with Spring Boot
• Experience deploying or supporting applications within Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with AWS services for cloud solution delivery and operational management
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows for automated integration, testing, and release activities
• Proficiency in SQL for accessing, organizing, and managing relational information
• Experience designing distributed solutions according to microservices principles
• Practical skills in implementing RESTful endpoints and integrating REST-based services
• Ability to use unit testing to validate functionality and sustain code reliability
• Working knowledge of NoSQL data stores compatible with Java technology stacks
• English proficiency at B2 level or above for effective professional communication
