Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to engineer dependable microservices and apply AI tools and theory to enhance solution design across the platform. You will build and maintain Java 8 and Spring Boot services with REST, SQL, CI/CD, Unit Testing, Java NoSQL, and cloud deployments on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. Responsibilities

• Build scalable technical architectures that remain stable over time and align to business needs
• Shape project direction by contributing viewpoints in architecture discussions
• Work with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality results within agreed timelines
• Assess peer code and give constructive review feedback to strengthen engineering standards
• Diagnose and fix complex technical issues across the development lifecycle
• Coach junior team members by sharing expertise and practical guidance
• Contribute to planning by clarifying scope and producing realistic time estimates
• Monitor technology trends and apply useful innovations in daily engineering work
• Create and maintain documentation for key decisions and technical processes to ensure continuity
• Align with business stakeholders to define goals and confirm completed work matches expectations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on work in a related development role
• Functional understanding of AI tools and theory to support better solution design
• Strong knowledge of Java Core concepts and object-oriented programming principles
• Practical experience leveraging Java 8 capabilities in everyday development
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot for backend development and maintenance
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of Amazon Web Services used for deployment and hosting of services
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts supporting automated release pipelines
• Working ability with SQL for relational data access and manipulation
• Demonstrated experience building solutions using Microservice Architecture style
• Experience implementing and integrating REST API frameworks
• Solid knowledge of Unit Testing approaches for consistent and reliable code
• Familiarity with Java NoSQL database choices that complement Java applications
• English communication skills at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
