Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Construct and organize durable, scalable technical solutions that meet both strategic and engineering requirements
• Join architecture-related discussions and offer input that shapes the trajectory of ongoing initiatives
• Communicate with teams spanning multiple disciplines to keep deliverables timely and aligned with quality expectations
• Provide code reviews for fellow engineers, offering constructive direction that preserves strong development standards
• Tackle and resolve challenging technical issues that emerge at different stages of the build lifecycle
• Coach junior colleagues, passing along knowledge that strengthens their technical growth and independence
• Take part in planning sessions, assisting with defining project boundaries and generating time estimates
• Keep abreast of evolving industry practices and integrate beneficial new approaches into regular workflows
• Keep thorough documentation of critical technical decisions and processes to ensure long-term codebase stability
• Work alongside business stakeholders to clarify objectives and ensure final outcomes align with set expectations

Requirements

• A minimum of three years' worth of hands-on experience in a comparable technical position
• Hands-on exposure to AI tools and concepts, leveraged to elevate how technical solutions are designed
• Solid grounding in Java Core principles combined with object-oriented programming expertise
• Confirmed capability working with Java 8 features in applied, real-world contexts
• Proficient in utilizing Spring Boot to develop and maintain backend components
• Background working within a Microsoft Azure-powered cloud setup
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services for managing and executing cloud-based deployment tasks
• Grasp of CI/CD concepts that support consistent, automated delivery workflows
• Ability to apply SQL for organizing and retrieving data from relational database structures
• Established experience crafting solutions based on Microservice Architecture principles
• Hands-on background developing and integrating with REST API systems
• Deep familiarity with Unit Testing methods to ensure stable and trustworthy code quality
• Working knowledge of NoSQL database technologies compatible with Java environments
• Proficient English skills at a B2 level or above
