You'll play a key role as a hands-on technical leader, writing production-quality code while steering the team’s technical direction. Collaborating with traders and Quants, your contributions will directly impact the Capital Markets Macro trading business. This position does not involve managing people but focuses on optimizing complex systems.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop production code while overseeing technical project direction • Partner with stakeholders for requirements gathering and definition • Design high-performance software solutions focusing on reliability • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle • Troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements
Requirements: • 7+ years in server-side Java with emphasis on concurrency • Minimum 1 year in a senior or lead technical role • Familiarity with capital markets and trading aspects • Experience with low-latency trading applications using real-time messaging • Strong SQL skills and knowledge of design patterns
