Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring Framework, REST APIs, databases, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of Java/J2EE and enterprise application development experience.
• 6+ years of experience with transactional databases and SQL, including DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• 6+ years of experience with Spring Framework, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Strong experience developing RESTful web services and APIs using Spring.
• Experience with ORM technologies such as MyBatis, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Proficiency with Eclipse or similar IDEs.
• Knowledge of SOA architecture and web services internals.
• Strong understanding of software development and implementation best practices.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, or similar version-control systems.

• Familiarity with Unix utilities and shell scripting, including Bash and Python.
• Ability to quickly adapt to an existing, complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications in a complex enterprise environment.
• Develop Java solutions independently while meeting aggressive project timelines.
• Apply strong expertise in J2EE frameworks and architecture (Java 7/8+).
• Work with transactional databases and SQL, including DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Develop enterprise applications using Spring Framework, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Design and implement RESTful web services and APIs using Spring.
• Work with ORM technologies including MyBatis, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including UI, Business Logic, and Data Access Layer teams.
• Follow established software engineering standards and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge and development best practices.

• USA Salary 65,000-75,000 USD
