Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building cloud-ready applications, developing REST APIs, and working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications.
  • Build scalable Microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
  • Implement Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and real-time messaging.
  • Integrate applications with databases and third-party systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
  • Support application deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Java application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
  • Experience developing Microservices architecture.
  • Strong experience with Apache Kafka (Producer, Consumer, Kafka Streams).
  • Experience building RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
