We are building experienced Java engineering professionals to support active and incoming client engagements for high-volume consumer platforms. If you have a solid background in Spring Boot microservices, Kafka event-driven integrations, and high-load distributed systems, we want to hear from you.
What the Work Looks Like
Depending on the engagement, Senior Java Developers typically work on:
Designing, building, and optimizing Java microservices and REST APIs for high-volume consumer experiences
Implementing event-driven integrations using Kafka with resilient, concurrent processing
Owning end-to-end delivery across technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and production reliability
Driving code quality through reviews, standards, and documentation
Mentoring teammates and sharing engineering best practices
Integrating with legacy and enterprise systems using XML, SOA, and REST where needed
Collaborating with Product and Architecture on roadmaps and scaling distributed systems
What We Look For
Must Have:
Available to work night shift on US hours
BS in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (minimum)
5+ years of professional Java experience (Java 8/17) with Spring Boot and RESTful services
Strong multithreading, concurrency, performance tuning, and profiling skills
Experience in high-load processing and designing fast, efficient APIs on scalable, distributed architecture
Experience with Kafka (streams and consumer groups), CI/CD, and unit and integration testing
RDBMS experience (DB2, Oracle, or PostgreSQL) with strong SQL expertise
AWS fundamentals for building and operating cloud services
Nice to Have:
Hibernate/JPA, security best practices, and observability (logs, metrics, traces)
Messaging patterns, schema versioning, and data migration experience
Experience hardening services for high throughput and low latency
Familiarity with React for cross-functional collaboration
