Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
- Build and enhance solutions based on microservices architecture
- Collaborate with team members within an Agile Release Train (ART) and cross-functional agile teams
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
- Optimize application performance, maintainability and code quality
- Participate in continuous integration and delivery processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java software development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Good practical knowledge of microservices architecture and clean code principles
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Good understanding of REST API design and development
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket
- Understanding of continuous integration and modern software development practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Kafka
- Knowledge of Spring WebFlux
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with C++ development
- Knowledge of test automation concepts, tools and best practices
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Previous experience in the financial or banking industry
