Summary
Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and data integrations for a financial-crime-prevention system, using Kafka, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL in an Agile, international team.
Salary: 1000-1400 PLN/day on B2B
Work model: hybrid from Gdynia/Gdańsk (3 days per week from the office)

Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on the development of functionalities related to integrations and data flow processes within the Financial Crime Prevention area. You will work on building and maintaining solutions that enable efficient and reliable data exchange between systems, supporting key business processes. The role combines software development and DevOps practices while collaborating with international teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities You'll Have
- Developing and maintaining functionalities related to Financial Crime Prevention processes
- Designing, implementing, and enhancing integration solutions and data flows between systems
- Building and maintaining microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Supporting ETL processes and working with databases to ensure efficient data processing
- Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and platform stability
- Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Expected competences and knowledge
- Strong Java 21 development skills, preferably with Spring Boot
- Experience working in a DevOps-oriented environment
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API development
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases, SQL, and DataStage (ETL)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Experience working with Kafka
- Good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment
Nice To Have
- Apache Camel
- Oracle SOA Suite experience
- Knowledge of Scrum methodology
- Understanding of CDC concepts, especially Debezium
