The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance trading system components using Java.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with Java.
• Strong expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience building high-performance, scalable backend applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system optimisation.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within electronic trading, capital markets, hedge funds, investment banks, or fintech environments.
• Exposure to low-latency system design and performance optimisation.
