We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic Java Back-End Engineer with a strong background in the Spring Framework and microservices architecture. In this role, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and deploying robust back-end systems that power our cutting-edge applications. Experience with cloud deployments is a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by following good practices and habits
• Develop, test, and document Java-based software components in accordance with requirements
• Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
• Write unit tests for robustness, edge cases, and general reliability
• Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code
• Create design documentation
• Plan and support releases
• Support the QA team to provide high-quality
• Work in a scaled Agile working environment

SKILLS

Must have

• A minimum of 4-5 years of development experience within Java Enterprise projects,
• Good understanding of various protocols: JMS, HTTP, TCP
• Good skills in developing new REST services from scratch,
• Excellent understanding of Design patterns,
• Experience with multiple application servers,
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate and other Java frameworks /open-source libraries,
• Experience with database applications such as Oracle, MySQL as well as with SQL, JDBC and ORM tools (Hibernate), PLSQL,
• Good understanding of security protocols (SSL, TLS, certificates handling etc)
• Used with Agile development methodologies and tools: Jira, Git, Maven, TeamCity, Jenkins, Artifactory, and other continuous integration tools,
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift and Docker.
• Google Cloud is a plus
• Experienced with unit testing
