As an Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client in the energy sector, focusing on developing and advancing critical backend systems. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and mentoring of high-performance microservices, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to support enterprise-grade solutions. This role offers the chance to influence technological direction and grow your expertise in a dynamic environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Define and support technical tasks within the backend development team, ensuring best practices and high-quality delivery.
- Recognize, verify, and plan the evolution of technology stacks for the Connector 2.0 project.
- Lead the implementation of new technologies across project teams, providing training and mentorship to team members.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain system architecture in the backend layer, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Program functionalities and conduct tests to deliver reliable software solutions, adhering to deadlines and specifications.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of professional Java programming experience (Java 8+), with at least 3 years working with Java 17+
- Extensive experience leading technical teams in backend development for 2+ years
- Strong expertise with Apache Kafka and Apache Camel (Expert level)
- Deep knowledge of Spring Boot (Expert level) and microservices architecture in containerized environments
- Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle DB 19c and ORM tools like Hibernate
- Familiarity with version control systems (GitLab), build tools (Maven), and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
- Experience working with the Unicorn ecosystem (ECP/EDX) APIs and channels
- Solid understanding of design patterns, software responsibility, and timely task execution
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively in teams, and communicate clearly in Polish and English (Communicative level)
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of RDBMS Oracle and Python
- Basic understanding of Linux systems
