Senior Java Developer

In this role you will develop and maintain customized software solutions for a major European public sector client, focusing on secure, scalable tax administration platforms. • Implement software components according to design specifications
• Perform system integration and testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolutions
• Conduct unit testing of software components
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to ensure efficient, predictable project progress
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization)
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes

• 6+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ)
• Good understanding of testing principles
• Ability to communicate confidently in English
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams
