Senior Java Developer – 6 months + extension contract
This role is for a Senior Java Developer with a 6‑month contract and possible extension. The position requires 2 days of remote work per week, with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days working from home.
Responsibilities
- Strong core Java skills
- Experience with frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot
- Designing and implementing RESTful API services; experience with OpenAPI is a plus
- Unit and integration testing to ensure high code quality
- Designing scalable and secure applications
- Understanding distributed systems and event‑driven architecture; hands‑on experience with Kafka
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Functional knowledge of online payment and acquiring is a plus
Mandatory Skills
- Excellent hands‑on experience working with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API, Kafka, and Azure Kubernetes

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days from home
Rate: €60 – €80 per hour depending on experience
Eligibility: EU Citizen / HSM Visa independent – no sponsorship required
