As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in payment terminal management systems. You will contribute to the design and implementation of complex business projects and technological upgrades, including transitioning from monolithic architectures to modular, microservices environments. Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the development and integration of new application components within the TMS ecosystem, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Implement cybersecurity measures and address security vulnerabilities to safeguard critical systems.
- Support and maintain production environments, troubleshooting issues with agility and precision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate from TMS to RTMS components, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Utilize Java 8+ and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and JEE to develop robust solutions.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, integrated with internal and external systems via various protocols.
- Contribute to system distribution, transaction management, and distributed cache optimization.
- Conduct system testing, documentation, and code reviews to uphold development standards.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 4 years of experience in Java development with strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Deep expertise in Spring (Boot, Framework 6.2.19), Hibernate (JPA 3.1), Jakarta EE, and EJB.
- Practical knowledge of RabbitMQ and message queuing systems.
- Experience working with relational databases, especially Oracle.
- Proven ability to independently design, document, and test application components.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, system integration, and application servers like JBoss/WildFly.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and frontend SPA frameworks such as Angular 2+ or GWT is a plus.
- Very good command of English (B2 or higher).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with system scanning tools such as Fortify or Sonatype.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Jira).
