Senior Java Developer

What are we looking for - the must have Tech Skills

• 6+ years in design and development of applications using Java, J2EE
• 5+ years of experience in web technology stack including but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON
• 5+ years of working with on or more backend databases RDBMS and NoSQL: Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.
• 5+ years of development using Spring, Hibernate
• Experience in development of REST APIs
• Experience in webservers like Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, IBM Websphere
• Experience with source control tools (Git, SVN etc.)
• Build and release management experience with tools like Maven, ANT, Gradle (or similar tools)

Who makes the top of the list - its just not the tech...

• You have a passion to design and develop complex applications - experience in application development in a banking and financial services setting is ideal
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
• Expert in log analysis and pursue leads to find root cause problems
• Experience in working in a with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science (Master's Degree in similar field of study is an asset)
• Excellent communication skills with previous consulting experience is ideal
