About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer / Technical Analyst to support the evolution of a financial data management platform. The role combines backend development with technical and business analysis, focusing on data quality, system integration, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance backend services, APIs, and data-processing capabilities;
- Analyse technical and business requirements;
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability;
- Integrate the platform with external data providers;
- Design scalable solutions using microservices and cloud-native principles;
- Apply CI/CD, unit testing, and software engineering best practices;
- Collaborate with business users and multidisciplinary technical teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience;
- Strong experience with Java and Spring;
- Knowledge of Java 21;
- Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL skills;
- Experience developing APIs and microservices;
- Experience with CI/CD and unit testing;
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker;
- Experience with cloud platforms;
- Ability to analyse and translate business requirements into technical solutions;
- Fluent English and availability for hybrid work in Porto.
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial data platforms;
- Knowledge of data quality and external data integrations;
- Basic or intermediate French.
