We are seeking an experienced Java Microservices / Backend Developer to support an engagement with a leading banking customer in Singapore.
The resource should have strong hands‑on Java backend development experience with expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java 17+, including:
- Concurrency and Multithreading
- Collections Framework
- JVM Internals and Performance Optimization
- Functional Programming
- Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java/Spring applications, including:
- Spring Boot
- Spring MVC
- Spring Data JPA
- RESTful APIs
- Event-Driven Architectures
- Proven experience building and operating Microservices architectures, including service decomposition, resilience, scalability, and observability.
Strong understanding of OOAD, Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and Clean Architecture
