Senior Java Developer in Kuala Lumpur participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment and maintenance. Core stack: Java 17, Spring Boot/MVC/JPA, React (Next.js), Redis, MariaDB, Docker, and Linux, working closely with business users and cross-functional teams.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to complete development or enhancement request.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Working closely with business users and IT technicians to proactively identify and implement solutions to enhance project performance.
- Contribute to the identification and development of new features and functionalities that meet evolving business needs.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to internal and external stakeholders, resolving inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology or related fields.
- Candidates with more than 5 years of experience, along with proven mentoring and leadership skills, may be considered for the Senior Analyst Programmer role.
- Strong, hands-on experience in developing and deploying complex software applications using (but not limited to): Java 17, React (Next.js), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JPA, JWT, OpenAPI, Redis, MariaDB, Docker, Linux.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in government projects will be an advantage.
