Senior Java Developer (Telecom Domain)

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in the Telecom domain to design and develop enterprise messaging applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Kannel SMS Gateway, SMPP protocol, and telecom messaging platforms, along with experience building scalable REST APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• Develop and integrate SMS solutions usingKannel SMS Gateway and SMPP.
• Build REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Integrate with SMSCs and telecom messaging platforms.
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

• 6 to 10 years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands-on experience withKannel SMS Gateway and SMPP protocol.
• Experience with Telecom SMSCs and messaging platforms.
• Good to have: REST APIs, Microservices, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle), Linux/Unix, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Mandatory Skills: Java 8/11/17 Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, Microservices, Kannel SMS Gateway, SMPP Protocol, Telecom Messaging Platforms, SMSC Integration, SQL, Linux, Git, CI/CD, Telecom Domain Experience.
• Must have prior Telecom industry experience with hands-on working knowledge of SMPP, SMSC, and Kannel SMS Gateway.
• Profiles without Telecom messaging experience will not be considered.
• Preferred Skills: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, Redis and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK), Experience with Agile/Scrum.
