Senior Java Developer

Salary: ₱60,000 – ₱75,000 per month

About the role

Provides continuous service improvements to eliminate or prevent incidents or problems and improve service quality for end customers. Develops and builds systems on the Java platform using cutting-edge techniques, tools, and utilities with excellent skills in design and coding. Leads projects in defining tasks, project deliverables and schedules of assigned resources. Can directly communicate with end customers for support requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field; other degrees are welcome with extensive relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer, including application analysis and troubleshooting.

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security (including CSRF).

• Experience in Full Stack Development and API Integration.

• Knowledge of C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSF/JSP, and the legacy Spring Framework.

• Hands-on experience with MySQL, Tomcat 10.1, Maven, and Ant.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, TFS, Agile Scrum, and Git Flow.

• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coding, debugging, and testing skills.

• Willing to work extended hours or different shifts when required.

• May require travel to other sites.

• Will to work on shifting schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications.

• Analyze requirements and implement system changes and improvements.

• Troubleshoot complex application issues and provide technical support.

• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.

• Ensure code quality and compliance with development standards.

• Coordinate with clients and team members to deliver solutions on time.

• Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to colleagues.
