Senior Java Developer with DevOps skills

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance Java-based applications in line with business and functional requirements.
Analyse existing code, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance, reliability, and maintainability improvements.
Perform unit testing, code reviews, and support system integration and user acceptance testing activities.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation using GitLab, Azure Pipelines, Terraform, and Unix scripting (around 30% of the time).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, release management, and production support.
Must have Skills
Experience in core Java
Basic UNIX skills
Spring basics
Strong OOP skills and ability to propose the design and implement changes in complex systems
Promoting clean code discipline (Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship)
Practical experience with unit testing and TDD
Problem-solving skills
Pro-active team worker
Professional Working Proficiency in English
