Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining a secure, high-traffic public website built on a modern microservices architecture.
This role goes beyond pure development. We are seeking an individual who combines strong hands‑on coding skills with architectural and design expertise.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who understands software engineering principles, can challenge existing approaches, and contributes to improving development processes, deployment practices, and overall system architecture.
Java is the primary technology for this role, while Python experience will be considered a valuable additional skill.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
Build new features and enhance existing functionality within a microservices-based environment.
Contribute to the architecture, design, and scalability of enterprise‑grade applications.
Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of applications and services.
Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Participate in technical discussions and provide recommendations for architectural improvements.
Support deployment activities and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and production issues.
Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in development standards, processes, and system design.
Required Skills & Experience
6–10 years of overall IT experience.
Strong hands‑on experience in Java backend development.
Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
Experience building and supporting microservices‑based applications.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
Experience working with secure, high‑availability web applications.
Good understanding of deployment processes and software delivery lifecycle.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to think critically and challenge solutions constructively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
