Senior Java Engineer

• Work Set-up: Hybrid setup — work both onsite and remotely (1-2x onsite per week)
• Open to foreign candidates currently residing in the Philippines (resident holders)

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join a dynamic, international team supporting clients based in Central Europe. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java-based application development, system architecture, and enterprise software engineering best practices. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-quality Java applications and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture design discussions, and system optimization.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and databases as needed.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with European clients, aligning deliverables with business and technical goals.
