Senior Java Engineer – Equity Trading (Vice President)

In this role you will help design and deliver scalable, high-performance equity front-office software. You will join a global team focused on a platform for the growing equity business, shaping trading applications used by traders and partners. You’ll tackle challenging, low-latency requirements and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to meet business needs. • Design and implement scalable front-office trading applications for Equity Trading
• Develop robust on-prem and cloud-based solutions with a focus on performance and resilience
• Engage with trading teams and developers to gather requirements and support equity business solutions
• Collaborate with regional/global teams to ensure delivery and maintainability under tight timelines
• Support and migrate existing applications toward microservices-based architectures

• 10+ years of front-office development experience
• 3+ years in software architecture, design and development of global trading applications
• Domain experience in Front Office Equity Trading
• Java expert with hands-on experience
• Strong experience with on-prem/cloud datastores and in-memory cache/computation
• Expertise in Cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong messaging experience for reliable, scalable data streaming (AMPS preferred)
• Experience designing and migrating applications to microservices-based solutions
• Solid networking fundamentals and low-latency messaging
• Ability to operate in high-intensity trading environments
