Senior Java Engineer builds and maintains production-ready Java applications, contributes to full lifecycle development, and collaborates in Agile processes for a global engineering partner serving tech leaders and startups.
- Drive the development of our solution set by delivering high-quality, production-ready Java code
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of application and business logic development, from concept to deployment
- Engage actively in Scrum ceremonies, demo sessions, and internal Idea Talks to support cross-functional collaboration
- Perform thorough code reviews and write tests to maintain code quality and system reliability
- Support project estimation, planning, and pre-sales activities with your technical expertise
- (Optional) Contribute to the team and community through mentoring, technical interviews, or knowledge sharing at internal and external dev2dev and meetup events
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design, Kafka, and REST APIs
- Kotlin will be considered a plus
- Readiness to dive into and work within a legacy enterprise codebase
- Experience on large-scale projects is a plus
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher with experience communicating with international clients
- Growth mindset and motivation to stay current with evolving software development trends
