To support enterprise application development and enhancement activities for a financial services project, covering backend microservices, frontend applications, API development, integration and cloud-native deployment.
The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications across backend microservices, frontend applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native deployments within a financial services environment.
Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs. Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React. Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development. Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable. Integrate frontend applications with backend Microservices and REST APIs. Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git. Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication. Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure. Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting and production support. Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills 8+ years of working experience. Strong hands-on experience in Java development. Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. Strong experience in REST API development and integration. Strong experience with React. Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with Micro Frontends (MFE). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Jenkins and Git and CI/CD practices. Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures. Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. Strong understanding of enterprise application development and SDLC. Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
Preferred Skills Experience with Node.js, Express.js or NestJS. Experience with GraphQL, Redux or Vue.js. Experience in financial services / banking projects. Experience with cloud-native application development and DevOps practices.
