Job Description
- Develop high-quality software solutions using Continuous Delivery practices to generate value for customers quickly, safely, and efficiently.
- Work in multidisciplinary, collaborative, and results-oriented teams, contributing to the construction of robust, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Design, develop, and evolve large-scale back-end services based on microservices architectures.
- Apply technologies, patterns, and software engineering best practices to solve business challenges with quality, performance, and resilience.
- Utilize DevOps tools and practices for automation, development, configuration, monitoring, and operation of services.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from solution conception to deployment, support, and continuous evolution.
- Develop resilient, performant, secure, well-structured, and tested features, following product guidelines and defined technical standards.
- Document, maintain, and optimize technical specifications, components, modules, source code, and other artifacts related to the developed solutions.
- Perform Code Reviews, promoting development best practices, code quality, and knowledge sharing among squad members.
- Participate in planning and tracking deliveries, contributing with estimates, scope definitions, deadlines, and priorities.
- Ensure the quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the applications and services developed.
- Collaborate with different areas and stakeholders, communicating technical information clearly, objectively, and appropriately for the target audience.
- Actively participate in the Back-end Chapter, contributing to the strengthening of the technical community through presentations, mentoring, documentation, articles, proofs of concept, and knowledge sharing.
- Act resiliently in ambiguous and complex scenarios, analyzing problems from different perspectives and proposing effective and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Solid experience in back-end application development using Java and modern frameworks, such as Spring Boot and/or Quarkus, with a focus on scalability, performance, and high availability.

Mastery in the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs, applying best practices for architecture, security, versioning, and documentation.

Experience with cloud computing services, preferably AWS, including concepts of distributed architecture, scalability, and resilience.

Practical knowledge of containerization and application orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and messaging solutions, such as Apache Kafka, Amazon SQS, and Amazon SNS.

Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases, including modeling, query optimization, and data persistence best practices.

Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, such as Datadog, Splunk, or Dynatrace, for performance analysis, logs, and troubleshooting.

Experience with code quality and static analysis tools, such as SonarQube, promoting best practices for development and maintaining code health.

Experience in agile environments, using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar.

Knowledge of software engineering practices, including automated testing, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with development in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Knowledge or professional experience with Golang (Go).
- Experience in environments with large-scale microservices architecture.
- Certifications related to AWS, Kubernetes, or Java development.
- Experience with observability practices, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), and DevOps culture.
