Senior Java Software Engineer

We're supporting a leading agricultural technology and industrial automation programme and are now looking for experienced Senior/Expert Java Software Engineers to provide critical delivery support within a Java-focused engineering team building the software platform behind large-scale automated agricultural machinery.

The position is a key build-out within the engineering function. The team is expanding to cover a growing product roadmap, with additional senior expertise required to safeguard delivery timelines and maintain quality across ongoing and upcoming product development initiatives.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing and developing Java applications for industrial automation and control systems, connected to physical machinery deployed across Europe.

Due to the nature of the work, close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and occasional on-site presence is required.

You will be required to be on-site 1 day a week in Wrocław.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Java engineering background — Java as your primary working language
• Industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure-connected systems experience — telecom, automation, manufacturing, or hardware-adjacent environments accepted
• High code quality standards, with a track record of production-grade output
• Experience working within collaborative, agile cross-functional engineering teams
• System testing, code review, and quality assurance experience
• Agricultural technology, industrial automation, or manufacturing domain background
• Experience with hardware-connected or embedded software systems
• Control systems, IoT, SCADA, CAN bus, or similar industrial protocols
• GitHub or GitLab version control and CI/CD workflows
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience within product-focused engineering teams
