Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in the FX trading domain, bringing strong design and problem-solving skills to build robust, scalable enterprise systems.

Please note that working from the office in Krakow is required 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side Java applications for FX trading systems
• Design and build robust, scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment
• Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and rollout
• Provide Level 3 support for production systems
• Improve older code bases and apply modern best practices to new projects
• Collaborate independently and within a team to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development
• Proficiency in multi-threaded and asynchronous programming
• Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems in enterprise environments
• Knowledge of Kafka, Tibco EMS, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Understanding of reactive programming paradigms
• Familiarity with Linux
• Fluent English (B2+)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Cloud/Azure, Docker, and DevOps
• Background in FX domain
