Senior Java Software Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain a scalable lending platform using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular; design microservices and frontend components for a distributed system.
Overview
We have an immediate need for an experienced full-stack developer who is strong in Java and knowledgeable in Angular. Ideal candidates will have extensive, multi-year hands-on experience, an eye for quality and attention to detail, to help our agile squads develop and maintain the next-generation distributed platform for a critical business line.
Responsibilities
- Design a high-performance, scalable system to support business needs.
- Understand business requirements and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components.
- Be an active contributor of an agile squad to build the best-in-class Lending platform.
Required Skills
- 5-15+ years of proven development experience in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices
- 3+ years of front-end web application development
- Experience in Angular 17+ or React, and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of relational and document-oriented databases such as SQL Server and MongoDB
- Great communication skills and experience with client interaction
Optional Skills
- Solid understanding of managed containerized systems on Docker and Kubernetes
- Development experience in financial institutions
- Experience applying modern technologies and patterns
