We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer( Spring Boot, Angular & AWS) 🛡️

To join the software engineering environment of a private banking and wealth management group, operating across multiple financial markets and supporting private clients, institutional investors and investment management operations.

The organization operates a complex technology landscape where client-facing digital applications, financial data, internal business workflows and enterprise banking systems must remain securely connected.

Skills

+5 years of experience working on Java and Spring Boot, developing REST APIs, backend services and microservices in enterprise;

Database integration, persistence, transactions and performance optimization;

OracleDB, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora;

Angular for Fullstack profiles (30%) developing enterprise applications connected to Java/Spring Boot backend services;

AWS services, particularly ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS/SNS and CloudWatch, for cloud-oriented backend positions;

Asynchronous processing and integration using Kafka and SNS/SQS, depending on the application architecture;

Docker, EKS and Jenkins/GitHubActions supporting application packaging, automated delivery and deployment;

Automated testing using JUnit, Mockito and Spring Test (unit and integration testing of backend services);

Secure API development, authentication, authorization and data validation in business-critical applications;

Terraform and Python is particularly relevant to AWS-oriented backend engineering.

Responsibilities

✅ Design and develop Java/Spring Boot services and REST APIs supporting financial applications, enterprise workflows and integrations with existing banking systems;

✅ Implement business rules, data validation and application logic using Java, Spring Boot and Spring Data, ensuring consistency across backend services and connected applications;

✅ Design and optimize database interactions using JPA/Hibernate, JDBC and SQL, working with Oracle, PostgreSQL or Aurora-based persistence layers;

✅ For Fullstack assignments, develop and evolve Angular applications, integrating user interfaces with Java APIs and implementing business workflows and data-driven application features;

✅ For AWS-oriented assignments, develop and deploy Java backend components using ECS, Lambda and Step Functions, integrating S3, RDS and SQS/SNS according to application requirements;

✅ Implement integrations between enterprise applications through REST APIs and asynchronous messaging, handling data exchange, error scenarios and dependencies between services;

✅ Build automated unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito and Spring Test, validating business rules, database interactions and API behaviour before deployment;

✅ Contribute to application delivery through Git, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, collaborating with DevOps teams on deployment configuration and production troubleshooting;

✅ Investigate and resolve issues involving Java services, database queries, API integrations, asynchronous processing and cloud dependencies, contributing to application performance and reliability;
