Senior Java Test Automation Engineer (f/m)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Test Automation Engineer to join an international team developing and maintaining cutting-edge solutions for fraud detection and prevention. Location
• Gdańsk, Poland
• Hybrid model – 2 days per week in the office (3 days from Q3)
Your responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests in Java
• Build and execute automated tests for both UI and backend applications
• Prepare test strategies, test plans, and test data
• Perform API testing and validate complex system integrations
• Execute functional and non-functional testing, including performance, stress, and security testing
• Support manual testing activities when required
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high product quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards
Requirements
Must have
• Proven commercial experience in Java test automation
• Strong knowledge of the Java ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with UI and backend test automation
• Experience with API testing
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Practical experience working in Linux environments
• Solid understanding of software testing principles (ISTQB Foundation level or equivalent knowledge)
• Experience with non-functional testing, including performance, stress, and security testing
• Strong communication skills in English
