Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to improve product accuracy by leading testers and standardizing robust automation practices. You will define test approaches, automate UI and API coverage with modern JS tools, and continuously enhance the automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead testers, ensuring guidance, alignment and support across testing work
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements
• Produce comprehensive test plans, test cases and test strategies
• Organize and prioritize testing activities to ensure efficient, thorough coverage
• Implement, develop and execute automation scripts using advanced automation tools
• Document, report and track defects through verification and closure
• Establish and enforce quality standards aligned with best practices
• Track and analyze quality assurance metrics to enable continuous improvement
• Stay informed on emerging testing tools, technologies and best practices
• Provide valuable input in QA meetings and contribute to testing activities

Requirements

• 6–9 years of Automation Testing experience with a strong emphasis on JavaScript
• Hands-on expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript backed by 4–6 years of practical use
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience in a QA/testing context
• Proficiency in UI Automation tools such as Playwright, Mocha and Chai
• Familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress
• Experience in Web Service and API Test Automation, including test cases and test automation frameworks
• Understanding of Webdriver I/O for UI testing
• B2+ English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate)
