Job Summary:
The Senior Lab Coordinator is responsible for interpreting of analysis results and assessing the condition of lubricants and equipment to support customers’ maintenance and reliability objectives. The role provides technical diagnosis, identifies potential equipment issues and root causes, and recommends appropriate preventive and corrective actions. The incumbent works closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and value-added condition monitoring services while ensuring high standards of technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily diagnosis and interpretation of oil analysis results in accordance with established procedures;
- Assess the condition of lubricants and equipment based on laboratory test results
- Identify abnormal conditions, potential equipment problems, and possible root causes;
- Provide technical comments and recommend appropriate preventive or corrective actions;
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding test results, diagnosis findings, and maintenance recommendations;
- Explain diagnostic findings and provide technical advice to customers in a clear and professional manner;
- Support customers in investigating lubricant-related and equipment-related issues;
- Prepare reports and trend analysis;
- Ensure reports are accurate and issued on time.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum2 years of oil condition monitoring experience in lubricant/marine;
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills;
- Able to work independently and effectively manage multi-tasks and priorities simultaneously;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels;
- Demonstrates initiatives and a proactive mindset;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
