Senior Laravel PHP Developer

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Laravel PHP Developer who can independently build, scale, and maintain robust web applications. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across backend logic, APIs, frontend integration, databases, and deployment workflows. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development (Laravel / PHP):
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Laravel applications
- Build clean, secure, and well-structured RESTful APIs
- Implement business logic, authentication, role-based access, and data workflows
- Optimize application performance, queries, and server response times
- Write reusable, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
Frontend Development:
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Work with frontend frameworks/libraries such as Vue.js / React / jQuery
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
Database & Architecture:
- Design and manage databases using MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Optimize database schemas, indexes, and complex queries
- Handle migrations, seeders, and data integrity
- Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis preferred)
DevOps & Deployment:
- Manage deployments on Linux servers
- Experience with Apache / Nginx, server configuration, and security
- Work with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and environment management
- Cloud experience (AWS / DigitalOcean / similar) is a plus
Collaboration & Ownership:
- Work closely with designers, marketers, and stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers when required
- Take ownership of projects from concept to production
Requirements
Specification:
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of experience in PHP & Laravel development
- Strong knowledge of Laravel ecosystem (Eloquent, Blade, Queues, Jobs, Events)
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Strong experience with MySQL and relational databases
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture
- Experience with REST APIs
- Proficiency in Git
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with Vue.js / React
- Knowledge of Redis, queues, background jobs
- Experience with API authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Familiarity with Cloudflare, CDN, caching strategies
- Experience building admin dashboards, CRMs, or SaaS platforms
- Understanding of basic security best practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection prevention)
