Leads the local Data Science team in close collaboration with global teams and drives the development of AI and data science solutions for customer projects and internal initiatives.
Tasks
Guide, mentor, and manage team members, support their professional development, and ensure high performance and quality standards.
Take ownership of data science and AI projects that drive key business outcomes and improve product capabilities.
Develop solutions for real-world problems by designing and optimizing algorithms, heuristics, and machine learning models.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to:
Define requirements and solutions
Manage stakeholders effectively
Ensure successful integration of models into products
Lead and drive external and internal projects that:
Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making.
Develop and implement algorithms, heuristics, machine learning models, and generative AI solutions.
Prototype and deploy AI solutions in production environments, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
Communicate insights and results effectively using visualizations, dashboards, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Contribute strategically beyond project delivery by defining best practices and identifying innovation initiatives and areas for improvement.
Professional Requirements and Expertise
Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field with exposure to technical disciplines such as Data Science.
10+ years of hands-on experience in Digital Supply Chain Consulting
Proficiency in Python and commonly used data science and AI libraries
Proven track record of leading supply chain optimization projects
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across business and technology domains.
Experience collaborating with European teams and customers in international environments.
