Senior / Lead Delivery Consultant – Microsoft Practice
Lead Microsoft solutions from discovery through to delivery, combining project leadership, technical know-how and client consulting across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, Fabric and AI.
About the role
You’ll run projects that typically last three to nine months, working with a delivery team of two to six people. One day you might be running a discovery workshop, the next mapping a process, configuring a Power App, writing test scripts or presenting to a client executive.
You’ll own the plan, budget, scope and client relationship, while bringing enough technical depth to make sound design calls alongside our developers.
You’ll also lead a team of three to six junior staff, providing day-to-day support through regular one-on-ones, coaching, development plans and performance reviews, as well as helping graduates find their feet in consulting.
The role also supports our growing AI consulting work. You’ll help clients identify practical uses for Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, Azure AI and other platforms, then scope and deliver proofs of concept and pilots.
What you’ll bring
5+ years’ experience delivering technology projects as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or combined delivery lead, ideally within consulting or fixed-price environments
A technical background as a developer, functional consultant, analyst or engineer, with hands-on Microsoft platform experience
Experience leading, supervising or mentoring junior staff
Experience in AI consulting, or a strong interest in AI with evidence that you’ve been actively building your skills
A get-it-done approach. You’re comfortable removing blockers, making decisions without waiting for perfect information and seeing things through
Clear writing and confident communication with both technical and executive audiences
Government client experience and project management, Agile or Microsoft certifications are a plus, but not essential.
