About Cully
Cully is a consumer-focused bot that uses machine learning & messaging platforms to provide event recommendations in your local area. Acting as a blend between a concierge and your “cool” friend who always has his/her finger on the pulse, we want Cully to be a tool enabling users to break their routine, try new things and explore their local area.
We’re based in downtown Vancouver, BC, and Vancouver-metro area is our initial focus for Cully’s recommendations.
Cully is an early stage project, just starting to build momentum, with the first public prototype in place, and a set of high level objectives to meet by the end of 2017. Joining now will give you the opportunity to own large parts of the product and help set direction.
This will be a small, skunkworks styled team of 4-6 people, with a mandate to not only build a great Cully experience, but the flexibility to challenge orthodoxy and explore cutting edge technologies.
About You
You're a senior developer comfortable working with an integrated product team where you collaborate on what and why, and own the "how" of the technical stack.
You enjoy leading a team, while also owning parts of the product delivery.
You have the right balance of Pioneer / Settler mindset (see Simon Wardley) for making decisions on how we build and ship product.
