Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer (Telco)
Salary: RM 9,000 – RM 10,000 per month
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to manage and enhance cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation and production reliability for enterprise CRM and Order Management platforms.
The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to lead DevOps improvements across mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, manage and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS and Helm environments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps deployment practices.
Ensure system availability, scalability, security and production performance.
Monitor applications, troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
Support CRM/Order Management microservices and system integrations.
Provide technical guidance and collaborate with development and operations teams.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
Minimum 6 years' experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform or Software Engineering, including 2–3 years in a senior/technical leadership capacity.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, AWS and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and GitOps (Argo CD/Flux).
Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Strong SQL and PostgreSQL administration/performance tuning skills.
Proficient in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk or CloudWatch.
Strong production support, incident management, performance troubleshooting and RCA experience.
Good communication, problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
